Before this turmoil comes in for a kill
Dancing underneath the falling stars
Holding on to what breath we possess
Running past the sounds and lights
Avoiding the failure of our truth
In the name of losing all we had
Forcing this wall away
Breaking boundaries that contain us
Passing through time like the rain
When the world is burning
Because our steps haunt it
Don’t push away
Don’t be scared of me
Disobedient children in the light
Submissive to the dusk
That holds us in its hands
Whispering thoughts of escape
Nudging us into the cavern
Little to no light sheds onto our eyes
As we travel past the days we missed
Stumbling in the dark
Blood trickles out of cuts
Made by the rough stones
We’re thirsty for escape
Struggling to get out
The blinding light of revitalization
Shocks us silent and frozen
Seeing the letters fly in the sky
Burned at the edges
Memories and words echoing
Throughout the wind
The battle was all a game
That we fought without knowledge
The radiance holds us steady
Holding onto what we have
Relieving each other’s own hell
Without you in my life
Everyday would happen in blur
Meaningless words echoing
Feathery ties to this world would break
If we didn’t have a grip on what we wanted
If we hadn’t seen each other
We’re both afraid to say the wrong thing
Twisting our hands around the others

I started to write this, and I just wrote words really. There is some story….somewhere, not too sure where though. It started getting awkward in the end so I stopped because if I went on it would end up horrible.
Ending with a quote from “Lift” by Poets of the Fall;
“You lift my spirit, take me higher, make me fly,
Touch the moon up in the sky, when you are mine
You lift me higher, take my spirit, make it fly,
Where all new wonders will appear”

Oh shut it, I know it’s over-romantic, but I like it.
