Time flies under my wings

The restlessness of my heart
Ties to the sun
Twists out of control in a storm
Hold fast when our world spins

Seconds turn to minutes
Miles turn to continents
Hours turn to days
Worlds turn to universes
Around and round the circle
Seeing the life beneath you
Light filters on the water

Floating overhead in the soft clouds
Leaves drip onto the snow
Flitting above our crystal kingdom
High on the mountain, tearing at treetops
